In accordance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s (SRA) transparency rules, we are required to provide information regarding the costs and timescales of certain legal services we offer. These rules are designed to assist you in making an informed decision when selecting a law firm.

Funding for Legal Fees
Our firm undertakes only privately funded legal work and does not provide services under legal aid.
In some circumstances, your legal fees, or a portion thereof, may be covered by an insurer if you have legal expenses coverage included in an insurance policy. We recommend reviewing your policy to determine whether such coverage applies.

Hourly Rates
The fees for our legal services may vary depending on the complexity of the matter. At the outset, we will endeavor to provide you with our best estimate of the likely fees. Please note that any fee estimate provided serves as a guideline and does not constitute a binding quotation unless expressly agreed in writing.
The applicable hourly rate for your case will be agreed upon and confirmed in writing. Legal fees are subject to VAT, which will be applied at the prevailing rate at the time the work is undertaken.

Fixed Fees
For certain legal matters, we may be able to offer a fixed fee arrangement. The details of any fixed fee arrangement will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Costs
Costs refer to payments made to third parties on your behalf in connection with your legal matter. These fall into two categories: expenses and disbursements.
-
Expenses are costs incurred by us to secure third-party services or goods necessary for carrying out your legal work. VAT will be applied to these expenses.
-
Disbursements are costs addressed directly to you as the client. Some disbursements may be subject to VAT, while others may not. We will ensure that VAT is applied appropriately in accordance with relevant regulations.
Please note that the list below is not an exhaustive guide to all the legal services we provide. Instead, it offers an overview of specific types of work selected by the SRA to facilitate comparisons between law firms.
